Mt Aspiring - Mt Aoraki - Mt Tasman
Marty Beare and Waldemar Niclevicz (a Brazilian motivational speaker and excellent climber) embarked on a 16 day mission to climb three of our classic peaks. With unreliable weather patterns and tough climbing conditions, they managed to summit Aspiring via the SW ridge, Aoraki via the Linda, and Tasman via Symes ridge. Waldemar motivates people to "identify and achieve their Everest" - a good example to follow ! For excellent photos click here

Wendy and Russell Stevens (Tauranga, NZ) climbed Mount Aspiring for their 25th wedding anniversary. They walked in because the weather prevented them from flying, and flew out from Bevan Col, hours after their successful climb with James Hamilton. Congratulations on your sterling effort!

Mount Aspiring (3027m)
Climb the Matterhorn of the South with the Mt Aspiring specialists! This majestic peak is climbed as a 5 day package and offers several routes to suit your style. We fly in by helicopter to the Bonar glacier and after a few days walk out through the magnificent Matukituki Valley. This can be climbed with 1:1 or 1:2 guide-client ratio and we are flexible with dates so contact us with your availability.

Objective 3000m - spaces in MARCH ********************************
The 8-day advanced technical course was developed to teach state of the art alpine climbing techniques. It is structured with a focus in building the skills enabling an ascent of a 3000m peak. The course builds upon a wide range of skills: to move with confidence through the mountain environment and to prepare participants for more technical routes. Whether your preference is towards technical rock routes or classic ice climbs you will find the O-3 course a great way to attain the necessary skills.

It doesn't seem quite right to climb a frozen waterfall. From a medium you can drink to something that resembles rock and then climb, it's a miracle. Ice climbing is bizarre, as weird as it gets, fantastic. Go and try it! Aspiring Guides have introductory level three day courses running every weekend in June and July. Fly in and out and stay in our cosy hut (small groups). NZ$1050 is a great package!

Jagged Globe
NEW Greenland expeditions In July 2006, Jagged Globe are offering a new expedition to climb the three highest peaks in the Watkins Range of East Greenland, including Gunnbjorn Fjeld (3,693m). This is the highest mountain in the Arctic and is sometimes referred to as the 'Eighth Summit'. Arctic Trilogy is 20 days and costs £4,495 from the UK.
