If you are looking for a 7 day itinerary for 1 or 2 people, see our Alpine Summit Week itinerary. However, if you want a shorter or longer trip, or you have a larger group, we can tailor a trip to match your group or individual needs. Whether you are 1 person or a larger group we can work with you to achieve your goals. From the hardest routes to easy ascents, from challenging trekking adventures to personalised alpine instruction, from wilderness ski touring to waterfall ice climbing: we have an alpine playground that will meet your goals. Instruction or guided - the choice is yours.

When to go?

Trips can go all year but the best time is November-December for summer trips or June-October for ski touring or ice climbing at our private Black Peak Hut. Remember, alpine ice climbing goes long into the summer here with great snow and ice routes lasting well in January. Alpine rock routes are popular in the late summer.

Where to go?

We can customize a trip for you anywhere on the South Island. From a Darrans rock adventure to a group instruction course, let us organize your next New Zealand adventure. We have high alpine passes with all the food and sleeping bags in place - all you need is a light pack. This set-up is ideal for a wild team bonding adventure or you can go for a 1:1 instruction week followed by a Mt Aspiring guided ascent.

Guide Ratio		1 guide : 4 clients maximum 2 guides : 1 client on hardest climbing routes
Prerequisites		No previous mountaineering experience necessary for easier peaks. Good fitness and endurance.
Weather contingency		One day contingency on all fly-in trips with Aspiring Guides. Day one of your trip could be delayed by a day.
Accommodation		Hut or tent or bivy
