Inland Pack Track West Coast Conservancy
Paparoa National Park, west coast South Island. Punakaiki or Pororari Rivers at Punakaiki on SH 6 or Fox River, 12 kms north of Punakaiki. 2 to 3 days medium to hard tramping. Ninety Mile Beach Northland Conservancy

North West Circuit Track Southland Conservancy

Waitaanga Forest, North Taranaki, 2 hours northeast of New Plymouth. SH 40 Ahititi to Ohura, South Waitaanga Road end. Track follows old bush tramline through rare silver beech and rimu/tawa forest to 60m waterfall. Numerous swing bridges. 5 hrs one way.
